Wigan Breastfeeding Network Peer Support Service

NHSALW and Wigan Council have commissioned the Breastfeeding Network to provide a universal Breastfeeding Peer Support Service. The service is working in close partnership with the Maternity service, Health Visiting Service and Children Centres.

The service provides antenatal information, support on the Maternity ward, Neonatal ward and Paediatric wards of Royal Albert Edward Infirmary and then home visiting post natal support to all Breastfeeding families across the Borough. There is also targeted support for young mothers.

To contact the service Tel: 01942 777903
